Poor vixen-shaped dude. Maybe things will get better as he gets more used to it, and he finds ways to make things more comfortable without making things too uncomfortable. I've definitely worried about what hot summer sun would do to a coating of fur, especially back in my skunk days. ^_^;;

Hopefully! Had the mental image of the poor vixen saying something like, "I wish I was a fennec or something, with larger ears to help deal with the heat." And then something grants it, and the human friend goes, "...Why didn't you wish to be human again?"
"...I didn't think about it! Damn this heat!" (Or "I didn't think anything was actually listening!")
I'm a dork. But I love these kinds of "exploring the real-world consequences of transformation", especially the ways people/society start providing solutions. Really looking forward to the part of MMY where there are more yinglets, and so there start being a couple companies popping up for yinglet-themed stuff. Not sure what they'd be just yet. Grooming kits, shelltooth-shavers, eyebrow whisker trimmers (or maybe it becomes fashionable to dye/paint the tips to accentuate them, or maybe just one or two like to do it), tail accessories... Definitely going to need clothing makers, even with the protective underfluff. Vayryn would probably try to get at least a few patterns distributed as "free to use" to make things easier/get things started. Stuff based on what she's worn and worked well for her. (It's a Matriarch's duty to care and provide for her Enclave. But don't point that out to her, you'll just get her upset with you. ^_~ )
