Eternal als Pirat der Felmuth Flotte
Eternal tries out the shape of a creature from the Legend of Spyro universe. This time as a pirate from the Felmuth fleet.
He adores Cynder to the absolute and formed some kind of bond in respect and friendship with Hunter of Avalar, as the Cheetah was inprisoned on Skabb´s arena ship. He also speaks up against Spyro´s captivity and even rebelled against Skabb - or rather Scratch and Sniff, who actually lead the pirates.
His fate is unknown, but there are three different versions of his further story:
One speaks about him being sentenced for high treason and being hanged on the gallow.
The second one speaks about him being forced to walk the plank and fall to his death in the ocean deep below the floating ships.
The third one is also about him walking the plank, but he survived his fall and eventually landed on the Chronicler´s island, where he was given a flying ship for to sail the dream realms behind the walls of magic to guide the dragons who have lost their way.

Yes love me some good rope bondage on the captain's ship. Sailing away across the ocean while tied to the mass of the ship or hogtied somewhere on the ship. Very pleasing to the adventure of being held captive by the pirates....walking the plank is another story lol not sure if I would like that to much....
Aye. I know, there is breeze is blowing from.^^
He probably would give one last speech to the crowd, before it all ends dangling on the noose. Maybe on what will be going to happen if the pirates continue to follow their path. Maybe the execution was prior to Spyro´s and Cinder´s meeting in the pirate arena and his words became reality as Graul´s apes attacked te fleet.

Oh, I don't know much about the games at all. Though that title of either the group or game is quite coincidental!
I feel like this is the first version of Eternal you drew where he's wielding bombs! First I've seen of it!
Not sure if Eternal would really fit in the Zelda Universe, but with how much stuff they've packed into those games both New & Old, I'm sure you can probably find something that fits! Or maybe not, mostly since I don't think Zelda fits much of your interest besides an anthro Wolf Link. <v>

You should give the Legend of Spyro game trilogy a look, even if it is for just some let´s play clips.
Unlike the original Spyro games, both for PS1 and the reignited games for PS4, who feature a more cartoonish, lighthearted story setup, the Legend games feature a more serious and even a little dark story.
The soundtrack is epic in my oppinion and they even took some inspiration from Lord of the Rings.
As for Zelda games. I don´t know, but after the Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons games, I somehow lost trace and interest, maybe because the character design for the games Phantom hourglass and Spirit tracks was not to my liking and after that I couldn´t effort to buy me allways the newest consoles.
And I also started to lose interest in games, where the protagonist was a human.

Awwww noooo, I love how Link looks in the artwork of the Oracle Games. Its a rare Pre-Wind Waker type of style that was reused again for A Link Between Worlds! Beyond that its not been used again for many many years. Link looks so weirdly happy and confident like Wind Waker but he looks much closer to the versions of him found in the artwork of A Link to the Past - which's artwork and artstyle was reused for Link's Awakening and the infamous CD-i Games that everyone makes fun of for their cutscenes.
You can actually see traces of Wind Waker style in the artwork of the Oracle Games, where some designs are starting to feel way more Cel Shaded, colors are super popping, things feel a bit more cartoony but look relatively serious, its got a small feeling of Studio Ghibli in its artwork. Oh! Wait! That version of Link can still be found in the Remake of Link's Awakening in the Opening and Ending Animations! The reason why is because after the Oracle Saga, that very same Link sets sail to the sea, his ship is eventually destroyed in a storm and eventually wakes up from the dream of the Wind Fish.
Spyro just genuinely doesn't quite interest me from his old games to his later games before the series just went dark in terms of putting out games. with Skylanders basically taking over it for very long while. I never really took true interest in Spyro or Crash, Spyro (when I tried - a game on Gamecube) felt a bit awkward to control but not at all wholly unpleasant, Crash I only tried on Playstation with the particular game being Crash Bandicoot 2, none of the games felt...interesting or gripping or fun to me.
The reason I love Super Mario 64 is because there's really only 3 unlockable power ups, but the very movement of the entire game feels super fun! Jumping just feels fun, long-jumping feels fun, I want my game to feel all around fun with how its designed! Which was not replicated very well with Super Mario Sunshine. Game felt like damn chore...though to be fair...in-lore you're literally doing Community Service because you've been framed.
Upon playing Spyro for Gamecube it just felt....boring. Not bad but boring is not good either. If you do that with a character where they're not very entertaining at the beginning it feels very lackluster in not just the character but their personality, which does some injustice for the character.
So while I can give the Spyro trilogy a look I don't quite know if I will, it just doesn't quite interest me. <v>;
I looked up footage of the plants and the death animation is very....holy shit...its DISGUSTINGLY OVERLY SIMPLE, like they have the power on Playstation 2 & Gamecube to make a death animation for it, its just the player character vanishing after a bite. You don't see aaaaaaanything else.

You have made your points clear.
So there is nothing to add.
The only thing, I would like to share with you is one of my favourite levels from Legend of Spyro . Dawn of the Dragon "Twilight Falls" for it portrayed a landscape that heavily influenced the realm Eternal would reside bedween the dimensions:

Sorry if it sounded aggressive! I hope it didn't sound like that, actually...because its not my intent.
Oh, so this is where his castle would truly be between dimensions. A magical forest with a waterfall nearby in the distance, with flowing water much closer to the castle than the waterfall itself. Where crystals full of mystical energy pop out of the ground. It feels like even plant life would move to the will of whomever is traversing the place, though that feeling I could be entirely wrong on.

Maybe. There won´t be any fast weaving of vines or stuff, if you have thought about that.
The entire environment is more subtle. The plants would look natural, you maybe could find, that the trees only slightly change places, so that you could find paths, that were not there before, so that you could find the way... or go astray.
It would be a fusion of a garden and wilderness, dotted with wells and springs and bushes with sweet berries and other good things.

Not* I made a typo that said "bot".
So then it is how I think it is! Things shift but sometimes not to the will of anyone. They just shift here and there, unrelated to anyone or anything.
Someone I know shares this idea with you! Though their sona is the one who cultivated all of the flora or plant life there, and its nowhere close to a small forest either! However I don't know if Eternal cultivated any and or all of the forest surrounding his castle, I'll leave room for whatever answer it may be!

Yes. Eternal is the embodiment of emptiness. That means, he can take on any form he wishes and blend in almost perfectly into a certain story universe, but something is allways a little off arround him, something that gives away for hem to not belong here. A slight uncanny valley effect.
And he can change his shape only that much as it is natura for the dimension he wishes to visit. Anything else would disturb the balance. And his powers are limited to the realm he is visiting.

Awww what a big floofy silly. Im sure he will squirm and hobble great tied up in either situation but once that noose is around his neck I'm sure the Heros will tease him awhile. Making him do a little dance as they taunt the big pirate before the noose is removed and he can help them out :)
Got to make sure he knows who has the power! And for everyone to have some fun with the big floof <3 Before teamwork or some other deal for everyone to work on.
Speaking of bound stuff I finally put up the last section of Enkets current adventure, with a big focus on binding up. If you have time to read it I hope you enjoy <3

As always it's a delight to see another of Eternal's avatars, and particularly interesting to see another form he would take in a universe he's visited before and remembering Skabb's appearance in the bound wolves series, we now see how Eternal would appear as a Felmuth pirate.
This would be a rather adorable avatar of him, a little comical with his expressions and lolling tongue, though also quite handsome with that little tufted forked beard, fluffy chest, the one red eye and those bushy eyebrows. As well there's the tell of his classic form, his ears and a rather lean snout giving him a certain rat-like quality. As well with the slightly hunched posture, relatively short legs and the lolling tongue and slightly crazy expression, the hyena-like qualities of the Felmuth pirates that does make them rather endearing.
As with cowboy, the role of pirate is one that Eternal does seem to enjoy for the adventure and of course the potential to find oneself bound, and he dresses the part well, the leather jacket open to show off the fluffy chest, some suitable gaudiness with the tail ornament and bracelets, as well as the eyepatch, bandana and blue sash, and again reminded of his classic form with the black and the red, of the fur and eyes of the rat and a trace of blue as another associated colour.
Though for all he might look like a crazy, maybe foolish fellow we also see there's the depth to him, a decent and wise individual beneath, though one whose fate is at best bittersweet, though of course given Eternal's nature, any and all of these fates could be a possibility and we do at least have the comfort of knowing that he is an embodiment of emptiness, always reborn and he can always revisit a world for adventure anew.
Catching up again with comments, but I think this would be one of my favourite of the avatars, certainly one I think is amongst the most adorable.

Again your comment is a highlight under my picture here. I admit, I am allways looking forward to read them every time. :veryhapy:
And again you have nailed all the meanings and symbols hidden within here down to a tea. Eternal is a crazy character here. Madness with meaning so to speak.^^;
