Gosh, where do I even start with my love for this artwork??? Perhaps from the colors, which I am absolutely floored by- The characters have such saturated palettes, coming up with colors for a background that compliment both of them so perfectly... this is incredible. Your use of colors is extraordinary! The muted greengreys and touches of orange and soft reds compliments the characters beautifully yet contrasts enough to make for a gorgeous way to frame the artwork! And from a design standpoint, the use of the vines to draw the viewer's eye around the artwork while still accenting the center is amazing!!! of the characters themselves: words cannot express just how much I love the way you draw hair! each line seems so purposeful, and adds just the right amount of depth and shape! I also really like how fantastic you made each of their hair textures, from Mahogany's rich wavy strands, to Tacere's heavy straight locks- both are the pinnacle of perfect!!! The slight variation in their body types too, I so greatly appreciate your skills in depicting! and the height difference- I am living for it omg The tenderness of the pose fills my heart with so much joy and mushy feelings >w< I just love how much emotion is packed into the artwork! I also really really like all the clothing folds, especially in Mahogany's hat and shirt, and the charming look of the trinkets on Tacere's belt and horn! aaaah and the tails, the overlapping tails! The pose and bench and props and characters are already all so great, but the overlapping tails turned my heart into a puddle, I'm so weak for things like that ahhhh~ I also really love how the thinness of the tails and the little tufts on Taceres give them the look of medieval unicorns - which is a large part of the characters inspirations!
