It's 2004 when most of the Fanged Fatales' adventures take place.
One day, hopefully soon, same-sex marriage will be legal in their hostile world of anthos. (and hopefully NOT undone by the courts years later.)
One day, even further into the future, maybe inter-species marriage will be a possibility for Eurydice & Mittens. But it's difficult when the world is scared of hybrid offspring (they're both spayed, you dummies) and other bigoty reasons. One day it'll be legal, hopefully before the Fatales pass away, in any case.
So all Mittens can do for now is dream of a blowout Gothic wedding for her and her shark lover. It might happen, it might not. All she and we can do is keep on fighting for it. Hope your Pride month got you further than you planned. Take care.
