As Thordonian and Separatist forces shift from stellar engagement to planetary, the distances of combat begin to close exponentially. Soon, warships began ramming into each other. Space fighters use the increasing density of the upper atmosphere to aid in maneuverability, shifting to dog fighting tactics.

Thordonian and Confederate ships continue to pour in from interplanetary space, replenishing the great canvas emptied by the rain of the shattered fallen to the ground far below. Once in range each and every ship will release their payload of fighter craft, letting out giant arms of swarming war machines from their sides to pierce into the battle with an ensuing wave of flak explosions. Battlecruisers head the Thordonian armada with their forward railguns as their sides sparkle with the light of hundreds of thousands of turret mounted cannons.

The Legendary class of confederacy heavy cruisers rampage through the lines. Although most are disabled upon collision with the skewering railgun fire front, their inertias and reinforced prows carry them through to pierce the hulls of the thordonian warships, barreling through their processor centers and tearing out their kugelblitz conversion cores.

Giant planet ships rage within the surrounding interplanetary space. They increase the flow of matter to their central kugelblitz cores, creating miniature quasars which let loose high energy beams from their spin poles. These beams are directed down opposite shafts along the axis of the tremendous warships to erupt from polar complexes. These beams slice through the system and wipe out all forces in their paths. Thordonian war machines rush out of ports in the equatorial trenches to replenish the interplanetary and stellar fields.

All of these measures are only minimal when compared to the incredible reproductive rate of the Confederacy. Even during this system wide engagement, automated Separatist machine ships are constantly building more of themselves on sight. A single modern confederacy star frigate can replicate a copy of itself once every 10 minutes by extendable scaffolding, several dozen deployable mobile self propelled forgeries, and several tons worth of independently operating nanomachines. Considering the fact that there are over a billion star frigates deployed for this system alone, it is only necessary to bring along such powerful forces to combat them.

Wreckage set alight by ruptured active fuel cells fall to the ground below, burning with increasing intensity as they enter deeper into the methane rich environment.

So materialistic, sheer brute force conveyed by matter weaved at its finest.
