On the plus side, she can roll her dice with her feet now? (That's not really much of a plus side...)
Just another reminder of how everyone expects you to be things, whether you want to be those things or not. Whether you want to want to be those things or not. "Dude, you? Playing a human instead of begging to play some furry homebrew stuff you found online? I've never seen you in a game not beg the DM to approve some wacky and wild race/build. ...Are you feeling okay? And turn off the voice filter, it sounds like a little girl."

Good party trick, though ;)
And yes, trying to navigate social expectations, perceived social expectations, personal feelings, and external pressures rationalized as personal feelings is awfully complicated. Stu dealt with a lot of this; Kat's issues tend to have more to do with how Kit wants to be seen by the people around him, though you could say that that's kind of another angle on the same basic issue. Jay's probably somewhere in the middle...

(Darn it, missed the button and hit Cancel. Now I gotta retype it.)
Her preferred party trick is the "Quadruple Deuce". Or, in more polite company, "Quad Finger Guns".
And yeah, expectations. She gets to navigate so many sets of expectations. Whether it's people expecting her to be a freaky rat-monster (Though they're less likely to think she's about to bite them now that she has properly-tailored clothing), people expecting her to be a scatter-brained scavenger, or people expecting her to be just like Matriarch Vizlet in the flesh...
She's gonna be so upset if she ever manages to get on that Discord server Max mentioned, while incognito as DataBun. "Wait, you've got four people roleplaying as me--I mean, her!? And sixteen playing as her offspring? And patriarchs? And FANFICTION!?" (Maybe it won't be that bad. Maybe. Depends on how mean I feel like being to her that day. ^_~ )

Against her will, she has become a celebrity. And the wet dream of hundreds if not thousands of people. Or even millions, there are a lot of furries who, even if not specifically into yinglets, are definitely into a girl with a tail and what her existence represents. ^_~
Flopsy has a similar problem. Local artists have been making comic books and plush toys and everything of her. She's very embarrassed by it. (And annoyed when they get her spots wrong.) At least Princess has successfully gone under the radar, "hellhound" rumors aside. ^_^

Yeah, but that requires coming forward and saying "Hey, quit using my likeness!" For the same reason, she's never come forward and said "Actually, I really don't like the name 'Superbunny'. Can you come up with something, I dunno, better? 'The Hoofbun'? 'Hopclop' maybe? Oh, my actual name? Err, I kinda... already used that, for the, um, the thing I don't wanna say I can do? Oh, crap, I guess you guys can guess I have a secret identity, huh? Please don't start looking around for humans to accuse of being me. (Especially because once you know I can take on a human form, it's probably really obvious which one is me... Not too many 'wear hoof boots' and have two-color hair.)"
...That got awkward fast, and I was just trying to say it would be awkward. It got meta-awkward. Dang. ^_^;;

True enough...'course, my characters don't tend to be unique icons in-universe, anyway, more just individuals who got (un?)lucky in a world where it's either not that unusual or everyone else is dealing with the same thing. Stu's probably the closest, but even she's just a novel form of "machine intelligence" compared to more conventional robots...
Vayryn is more of a "patient zero", she's about to be far less unique. Well, there's still about six months in-universe until that event, so it's gonna be a number of chapters yet. But then it'll be more like your universe, with the occasional person being turned and having to deal with small communities of "natives" to help out. It won't be for a few generations before there are "natural born" yinglets and former humans are the exception rather than the rule, of course. (Especially if Za Bastard's notes are all lost and the breakthrough tech gets lost, only to be rediscovered/redeveloped years later...) ^_^;;
