Someone on Mastodon asked how to draw stuff so it looked rubbery and I came out with 'do whatever the heck it was Ellis Chambers did to make his stuff look like rubber'. Facetious? No, because it really works like that. This got me in the mood to go back to an older subject, Daffy Dragon, the Daffy Duck ripoff of several stories who was occasionally drawn kind of similarly twice in a row. (Seriously: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40058301/ I don't think is even my first drawing of him, and https://www.furaffinity.net/view/49599220/ shows how he just keeps staying good.)
This is a panel from my favorite of the Daffy Dragon comics I've seen, printed among other places at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=85144 page 29 (CW for the comic book as a whole for Native American Indian depictions and incidentally plagiarism, see https://www.furaffinity.net/view/39929325/ ). And, like I said, very, very rubbery, even in the line art.
