Do AI's struggle with depression too? Maybe a stray ion messes up your emotional subrutines, or maybe extreme stress can break intelligent computers just as easily as their flesh and blood counterparts. Maybe in copying the minds of life on earth, a system with all the same flaws has been created at a much larger scale... This vent art was drawn just before I made the decision to start taking anti-depressants. I'm not sure if it's canon or not tbh.

Not much you can do, but it's a lot better for my liver than alcohol. That much is for sure. Also it is helping me make progress on turning my life into something that doesn't make me feel terrible all the time.
Yeah, that makes sense. Being a living thing is its own sort of burden.

Not sure if I should fav this one or not but it is a powerful image. And yes I suspect an advanced AI would have potentially similar mental problems and probably some new ones, it's possibly a price humans and by extension AI's pay for being so smart.
And the anti-depressants are definitely worth a try, I hope they do the job for you.

Heh, that's the goal of this account. To have the freedom make and post stuff that's incompatible with the internet. Also yes, being smart enough to stare into the abyss is a special kind of pain. A dread that haunts humanity, and probably haunts AI's to an even greater extent.
A few weeks in, they certainly seem to be helping, so that's good!
