A mysterious A.I. that Shadow had found while searching for the Chaos Emeralds. He only picked her up because he thought it would be useful to have an artificial intelligence handle affairs he feels are a waste of his time. But overtime, Shadow and Maria became close, to the point that she even became a good source consciousness and comfort for him. Of course, she can't help but feel like she knew Eggman from somewhere but she doesn't know why. Maybe they have a connection, but only time will tell...
Since she is Eggman's cousin, I thought to give her a more "Eggmany" look, but not too much. Since she is an A.I. in this universe, I gave her some details (such as the glowing eyes, the ombre hair, and maybe the bodysuit underneath her dress) that showcase her digital nature.
An A.I. created by Eggman for the purpose of researching the technology and ruins of the Ancients. Overtime, Eggman came to see Sage as a daughter (possibly the only being he doesn't see as a tool or pawn), as he would dote on her when they are off-duty. The feelings are reciprocated, as while Sage tries to be professional, she occasionally slips into the mentality of a child. She adores her "father" and would do anything to make him safe and happy. Even Metal Sonic (who she sees as an older brother) dotes on her a bit (but only when no one is looking). Of course, she is still learning about the world, and some encounters and observations on certain individuals may challenge her not only her pre-established (or pre-programmed) views, but also her relationship with her "father".
While I like the simplicity of Sage's base design, I felt that it doesn't really spell "Eggman", so I decided to take a small number of elements from Eggman's attire and applied them to Sage, while keeping it simple.
