A part from  Kageichi's story: The secret life of a Tanuki

"Oh," There's so much I could say right now, I could say thank you to both of them, but would that be enough? "guys, thank-!?"

I was about to thank them, but before I could finish, I saw... a flower petal; a cherry blossom falling gracefully into my hand, and more continued fall. I didn't believe it at first, but when I turned around, I could see the sakura tree blooming, and more flower petals began to fall. "Wow, it's so beautiful."

"Congrats Gonta, you must've found your true love yesterday," Sho said. "who is it? Was it a tanuki, or a human like my Mom?"

I never met any girls on the way home, so why is it- 'Does that mean I-'

"Gonta, are you alright?" He asked.

"Shoukichi," I grabbed his hands, my fingers between his like in the romance novels I read. "I don't know what to say, but ever since yesterday, I felt something. Feelings that I couldn't understand, but I think I do now. I needed someone to help me when I needed it, and you were the first person to ever come to my rescue."

"Gonta, what're you-"

"My heart is yours, I pledge everything I have to you for as long as I live," This was the biggest thing I'd ever say to anyone, but I know that this what my heart wants. "Shoukichi... I love you!"

"Say what!?" Nina exclaimed.

"Wait, I think you're over-!?"

I finally gave my first kiss to someone, and I gave it to Shoukichi. It felt so right to me, and with the cherry blossoms blooming with every minute we kissed, it felt even more right. I finally broke out to breathe, my cheeks never felt so red before in my whole life, but when I saw Shoukichi's reaction, he looked... stunned. "Sho, are you alright?"

Shoukichi didn't answer me, but instead he fell unconcious. "Oh no, did I do it wrong?"
