The way the bolts of lightning arc and blur- as if they are shooting out with great speed, and the idea of having them come from the chest and the eyes is amazing!!!!! The look of clouds and stars is perfect, the clouds just brimming with charge and the stars like sparks AHGH! It's perfect!! And the rich colors add to the powerful atmosphere of the image, too! I really love the way the highlights show off the muscles of the character, and how ferocious the expression is, the glint on each tooth and fang, and the way the muscles on the muzzle fold up in that intimidating snarling smirk, there is so much energy in the face, and there is so much implied motion in the pose! You can almost feel the character lurching forwards, you can almost feel the charge in the air! The way the hair whips around in the wind generated by the currents is gorgeous, too! Gosh, there is just so much to this artwork that astounds me. Every brushstroke in the shading is incredible, the amount of detail in this is indescribable, I feel like every time I look at it I see new details I missed before ;O; I always see your art and feel so inspired and filled with awe.
