Another case of getting an old sketch from
Nicole coloured and cleaned up, in this case this highland dancing sketch from two years ago. Just a nice fairly simple picture.
When I had suggested which tartan I'd like on there, I hadn't expected Nicole to pick up the image and warp it to lay it out on the kilt, but I'm not complaining; it's more recognizable that way. And yes, that is a registered tartan, a green pattern for the Scott clan, which I can trace at least some of my lineage to through the Laidlaw family. (As I've mentioned before, I'm part Scottish, part Irish, part English, and part German; I argue with myself a lot.) Have to say the whole image works pretty well.

I remember the first version of NicNak's drawing of Jenora clearly, and I am tremendously fond of the upgrade to colour- and the genuine tartan format, which I recognized but would've needed to look the Clan name up by specifics, had you not kindly included the answer to my potential seeking in the description for your present and newly-hued drawing of yourself-IC.
I know Jenora's size is widely variable by preference, company and limited only by her conception of physical reality and breadth, whatever physical form she chooses to take and enjoy in embodiment, but I remark happily that without any deliberate frame of reference for your height and size, short of your feet being upon a more-or-less flat surface- or rather, one upon and one raised joyously aloft in the midst of the dance- I could imagine you on a human-sized stage down at Harbourfront, exulting in the dance you perform before a crowd, or dancing upon one sized akin to the great, reinforced wooden performance platform where Wolf tickled a grand piano's keys, and you sang accompaniment with your lovely voice while being enormous enought to dwarf both the wolf and the piano, and likewise give the stage supports beneath you a very good strength test.
I've noted that many professional artists I've met and artwork I've enjoyed for several years or more, who choose to work solely in digital media or as part of their creative toolbox as an alternate medium, take a great deal of care in building and storing defined palettes for their colouring work, especially when they've worked with the same characters more than once or many times, like NicNak has with your lovely starcat. With very few variations from your pelt and headfur tones and colour, she has met tremendous care to putting colour to your lovely starcat-self, and tartan and pelt-fur together, that lovely lynx-gentlewoman draughted an exemplary upgrade to her earlier drawing of you, Jenora, and you look very content in expressing your heart-song herein.
