[SOLD] Crystal Dragon
Well, i'll just go ahead and finally sell this design i had in the making for quite a while now~
Rules:
- Due to the fact its 3D model already is done 80%, i'll make it available optionally at a certain price point. When it's reached, i'll fully finish the model and the winner will get access to all of the corresponding project files. The model also can be bought afterwards at any point for the price difference between the winning bid and the 3D model price threshold.
- The winner ofc is free to do whatever they'd like with this character and the model
- The auction will end 48 hours after the latest bid
3D Model Info
First off: I will give detailed instructions to the winner of how to work with the model.
The 3D model is fully rigged and game-ready with about 100k tris. Apart from that, it can be bumped up to 40 million tris within Blender's multires modifier to get the highest possible detail for offline rendering.
It offers 4K textures and animated volumetric shaders for all the crystal bits. Wing membranes and pendants are simulated via Soft Body simulation.

What type of rig does the model have?
I’m mainly Vore artist but also do NSFW work as well, for the Vore part, does this model have a throat to stomach?
Also, how big is the file? I ask this because huge files are hard to mess with in blender sometimes.
I want to make sure what this model has before I think about spending the money first.
I also have a discord and telegram if you want to talk more on this.

It currently has a Rigify rig, but i plan on building one from scratch for it, as it doesn't really work for everything i want it to do.
No, it doesn't have the throat or stomach modelled out.
The blend file currently is 200MB in size. With ~300MB externally saved multires data. I think the blend file still has tons of extra models due to the nature scene render i did, which will be cleaned up of course. I think the finished scene on its own will be like 30MB at max or something like that.
For animation, the multires modifier should be disabled in the viewport or at least set to level 1 at max, resulting in smooth playback performance.

I love rigify rig, so easy to pose for animations and simple scenes. My recent work came out good with those rigs :).
Glad the file is 200 to 300 MB, anything over 1GB get a bit dicey for my computer (even with my Alienware laptop with 3070 GPU, lol)
Bummer no throat or stomach, I do know a few people that could do that, but not sure if that’s allowed “if” I paid for the model.
I would have to think about this, because I know it will cost me a bit, which I think the price is good, but wished for that throat part.

Well, due to the way the multires modifier works, it doesn't allow for any topology changes *at all*, unfortunately. You could reproject the detail onto a modified mesh, but most crevices (which there are a ton of) will need manual refinement, because shrinkwrap doesn't quite get those perfectly.
The editing and playback performance is really good when multires is turned off (or simplify is turned on), as the model then only clocks in at about ~100k Tris.
Though there are some edge cases were hiding the crystals (which are merged into a single object, but still are lots of small meshes) may result in better playback performance. But that's unavoidable with such a model.
The Rigify rig may be nice for simple poses and movements, but the limits really are apparent quite fast, as each rig chain type is essentially locked into a single function and it's such a hassle to add more functionality to it or even edit it.
You're free to do whatever you want to do with it then, i'm not stopping you :D
