I was re-watching Dune 2021 again and anticipating part 2 in November.
The scene when the Atreides were leaving the ocean world of Caladan left me sad, because I kept thinking, "Why would you ditch this place?!" Maybe Duke Leto shoulda been like, 'Nah. We like it here. We don't have to be richer than the Harkonnens.'

it was also the direct orders of the Emperor of the known universe and friend of Duke Leto Emperor Saddam IV of planet Kaitain, and also the emperor has the most brutal and destructive death troops ever known as well the Sardaukar, but Leto also known it was a trap but springing it and exposing Vladimir Harkonnen to the Guild and the Lansrad, would be the biggest disgrace and lose all his rights and powers disgracing the entire Harkonnen name no more guild rights either he would be mega beeped, i too love Planet Caladan, and Paul himself also been having visions of a much greater destiny one that has to come to full fruition the Prescience passed down from his mother and the training he received from her his father, Duncan Idaho from Thufur Hawat as a Mentat also he is becoming a ultra skilled tactician warrior and one day honorable ruler i also can't wait for part 2 of the first book movie.im a big life long DUNE fan and love this picture of the desert Jerboa and the Haiku's Denis's version is so very close to the original novel it chills my blood and makes it boil with excitement at the same time wanting so much more i hope he goes all the way to Chapter house.
and very good reference of the orange catholic bible he is reading as well there the main rule thou shalt not create a machine with the likeness of a human mind, this is indeed very deep m8 beautiful and something that hits home with me as well, also the sleeper must awaken is Leto's greatest line and quote too that has extreme deep meaning,
I read Dune a couple years after I saw the Lynch film. At the time I didn't even know it was a book at first. I kept wondering where the Weirding modules were in the book. Turns out David Lynch made them up. Oddly enough, the idea of the Weirding modules does sound like something Frank Herbert would have come up with.
“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
