N'duk Hunter (Mongoose, Shooting Guard) was picked up in the second round of the FBA draft for the '10-'11 season, and quickly made a name for himself by outscoring starting shooting guard Sandy DiTullio. He impressed the coach so much that he was moved up into the starting position, and has been there since.
Little at all is known about Hunter's background, only that he emmigrated from Kenya about four and a half years ago, and learned to play street ball in the Bronx. His visa lists him as being in the United States on refugee status due to tribal violence, but one has to wonder if that's completely true, as the 6', 225lb mongoose is nobody's idea of an easy target.
Great on long 3's, and using his power to drive the lane, Hunter plays all-out on the court, and earned the nickname "300" for his savage style, but his charity to the needy and homeless has given him a second, much more kind nickname, "The Duke."
