When the nights are cold and the warmth of the fire isn't quite enough to take the bite out of the frigid air, the warmth of another is often just what is needed. And what better warmth to share than the loving embrace of those closest to you?

This is another piece that holds some significant emotional meaning for me. Towards the end of the year last year, right after I had officially become  ValiaMoonseer's pet, she also formally introduced me to her other pet,  Serratia. I had known of her, and had seen her around a fair bit up to that point, but had never reached out myself. Thankfully we ended up getting along quite well, and at her proposal we both commissioned this piece as a present for our mistress' upcoming hatchday.

Funnily enough, the piece wasn't actually finished in time, though we did at least have a WIP far enough along to show her, and she absolutely loved it. Same can be said for the finished product, of course, and both Serratia and I agree that is is an incredibly lovely piece. I mean, why else would I have been using it as my banner ever since they added that feature?
