Dewey's full name is Dewermeier Zoltan Kovacs. He's basically pure Hungarian. The proper pronunciation of his name sounds like "co-watch" but his family chose to "Americanize" it to "co-vacs" (as in vacuum). Alas, somehow people hear "Kofax" like the baseball guy, and it's not because of Dewey's terrible speech... thing.
