"If it bleeds, we can kill it!"
"Sir, that's not the pred's blood. I just spilled my gatorade all over the carpet."
"Oh, okay. Wait, is that Ice Cube I hear?"

"Dang, this pred's got good taste in mu--" [Predator uncloaks and shanks the dude]
"OH FUCK"

Oh my goodness, you like Predator? YEEEEEEEE!!!
i love that movie so much. Aliens, too! The AVP games are also fuckin' fantastic, I recommend them heavily. Especially the 1999 game, I played the shit outta that one when I was 14. [you can get it on Steam for 5 dollars as the Classic 2000 edition]
No seriously, the AVP games offer some of the best simulations of Yautja badassery ever. You get all the sweet-ass weapons and vision modes, the sound design is top-notch, you really do feel like a Predator.
The Alien and Marine campaigns are also great!
Xenomorph has a lot of freedom of movement, and being able to stalk prey while crawling around on walls and ceilings feels fucking awesome. [it's like being a serial killer squirrel]
Marine campaign on the other hand perfectly captures the feeling of being a terrified squishy human surviving onslaught after onslaught of Xenomorph hordes, and is one of the best FPS horror experiences out there.
For reference, here's a pretty good retrospective video of the games that came out just a few days ago.

I remember seeing the 2010 game on the shelf in Gamestop years ago, thought it looked pretty cool.
Haven't watched the movies, but I know my dad watched them. From what I've heard, I really don't like that they're set in the present day. If Xenomorphs are involved, shouldn't it just be set in the far future? They should've just taken a page from the games and set it a decade or so after Aliens, with Colonial Marines joining the ride while Preds and Xenos kick each other's asses.
I also remember checking out the 90s Kenner action figures on Amazon when I was 12, was really interested in that kind of stuff. Kid's toys based on hardcore R-rated movies is such a fucking weird phenomena, but it's also fascinating [in a fucked up way].
