There used to be a brand pf cookies back then that had a picture of a theater mask on it for some bizarre reason and for months I refused to go into that isle because I thought all that masks might fly off the boxes and consume the universe. I was 4 or 5.

Well, it is never a good idea to touch roadkill with your bare hands, they might have diseases. There was a news story a while back where a young girl tried to resuscitate a dead raccoon and contracted the bubonic plague from it. Yes, THAT plague. Thankfully we have reliable treatments for that now but still...not worth the risk.

Also live, healthy skunks will spray you if you get too close. It's kinda what they're infamous for.
