Hee-Ho howdy everyone! Yall knew I wasn't going to miss Mother's Day lmfao... and what do we have here? Well, for the first time ever we actually get to see Thomza's own mother! Or well... Anything that was posted publicly that is for an illustration on my end lmfao. There were a few concepts for her, but this is more or less the finalized design of her. Her name is Patchyella, and as you can see similar to Thomza's own fat cartoon dragon transformation, she's pretty strikingly similar. Especially with the horns, and even general body shape. Patchyella also as the name implies, comes from a realm and universe where the world is made out of toys and building blocks, as well as are most of its inhabitants. Patchyella is mean to be a larger than life "stuffed toy dragon" which is the god of this realm and is a being of primordial chaos. Hence when she got with Thomza's dimensional jumping father Thomza was able to be created and it's why he is, well, a being known as a Maskless. (For those who don't know Maskless are beings born of primordial chaos and do not have a true form to call their own as they shapeshift wildly to disguise their true nature.)
However, it is also known Thomza did not get to see his mother (or know of her existence) until the Council of Chaos arc and when he learned of his true origins. She would help him fight against Maxwell if she could, but alas as the only remaining god of her realm, she has a duty to fulfill. Despite that it's still a glorious reunion after the possibly trillions of years that they've been separated. Although that's enough of the lore dump for now, what we have here is simply Thomza creating a larger-than-life paper card for his mother. He was having a hard time finding a card for her proper size, so he just made it himself. The original idea was having Thomza *also* in his Cartoon Dragon form, but I decided this would work a bit better and allow for something a lot more dynamic instead of the two simply standing side by side and allow for the scope of the universe she lives in that is separated from Thomza's own.
Other than that? I got nothing else to say- Have a wonderful day everybody! Seeya around!
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system.
