Why is it now that I only drew Mrs. Mallard? She was the first teacher for the Those Toony Kids universe that I created and one of the first OCs I EVER made. I always imagined her as an old duck lady with blue-grey feathers and a mauve Edwardian dress. Like, that is how I always saw her as in my mind. Also, I was inspired my Ms. Fowl from Jimmy Neutron for the hair. Mrs. Mallard was inspired by my 2nd grade teacher. She always had a big hairdo, was very traditional, and strict with students.
Mrs. Mallard is Deidra's homeroom and English teacher. Her teaching style is very traditional and has a "boomer" mentality when it comes to technology, still preferring to use traditional slide projectors over newer technology, She also is a love of poetry and makes her English classes memorize many, many poems, much to their chagrin. Although she hates punishing her students, she is quick to discipline if one gets distracting. She enjoys reading, and that is why she assigns many essays on toon literature. Bitsy gets overwhelmed with sudden changes and faints occasionally from them. And yes, she is also a neat freak.
She does have time for fun, which is writing poems and memoirs. She also is a part of a book club with older toon ladies. And of course, she dabbles in knitting and sewing. She has some level of care for her students, as she has been teaching for 46 years, but isn't open about showing it. Many students think she is cold-hearted, but in reality, is just a product of her time. Mrs. Mallard has a husband, children, and grandchildren.
