A favorite variation, Event Horixon, involves n players where one syxen posits a type of disaster, n-2 players propose additional challenges or limitations, and the nth syxen has to either nullify the disaster or save the most lives and rebuild civilization in the shortest amount of time. For example, syxen one proposes "ferrous core meteor of {mass, shape, albedo, dimensions} strikes {coordinates} on the pacific basin at {angle} and {velocity}". The next syxen adds "and astronomers don't spot it until 8 months prior to impact". The next syxen adds "and astronomers miscalculate the trajectory by {deviation, in kilometers}". The penultimate syxen adds "and the wheel was never invented". The final syxen cracks her knuckles and grins smugly, saying "child's play".
