YOOOOOOOOOOO HELL YES!!! i absolutely adore orp. all of my fanart that Appears to be dsmp is orp fanart. i have never actually watched dsmp i was already a fan of aenor from their steven universe fic and finally decided to read orp around july 2021! and here i am to this day...

omg, same on the never watching the dsmp front and just getting all your knowledge from orp, LMAO! pretty much everything i know i just osmosis'd from hanging out in the fandom. but steven universe fics you say...? I'll need to check those out (if I haven't already and just forgotten </3 i read a lot so sometimes things get lost in the catacombs, lol)

it was discontinued but i still really love it. some of the stories were being updated simultaneously so its kind of confusing to reread but the series has the same level of worldbuilding and fun biology that made me a fan of the author team in the first place! it also has a companion guide of art and lore n stuff :D

ah, too bad about the discontinuation, but if it has the same level of care put into it as orp, I'll probably read it anyway, lol. I'm a sucker for worldbuilding-heavy fics, they just enrapture me like nothing else! Finished or not, I appreciate you mentioning it :3x

I'm no stranger to reading WIPs that end up canceled, or even discontinued fics that were marked as complete for some incomprehensible reason </3 If it's as good as orp, I'm sure I won't regret reading it even if it is forever unfinished ^w^
