originally my main warriors story was about embergaze and a bunch of others. but in 2018 i got more interested in her daughter applepaw and upended the entire story to start over with her. but embergaze and her brother goldendew still have the same backstory, namely their father dying when they were kits. i always wrote ember as taking it harder than her brother, and golden's childhood being part of why he chose to become a healer.

also theyre identical twins. i dont think i had a reason im pretty sure i just thought it would be fun for them to be identical :] embergaze has the scar on her muzzle.
