Regional Variant Concept -- Mawile [Art by Lay]
Another cool and I believe still unused type combo with a Regional Variant concept! It did get a Mega Evolution in Gen 6 and also gained the Fairy typing at the same time. It's Gen 3's Deceiver Pokémon -- Mawile!

I think you know what body part I'm referring to, don't you? The light green goes together so incredibly well with the deep yellow of the main body, and the soft pink color finishes it off! Bright colors, in the wild, are often used to indicate danger -- and this monster certainly is dangerous! And now, it can get some Same-Type-Attack-Bonus from using its environment-friendly lifestyle as well!

Thanks! Also for the Fave!
I really hope they do more like this in future Gens -- and not just with Gen 1 Pokémon. Yeah, they're the oldest group of monsters, and they're the most iconic, but later Gens also need to get some special attention. Many Gen 2 monsters actually got said attention in Scarlet and Violet, like Sunflora for example. And Houndoom, Tyranitar and Scizor got Mega Evolutions in Gen 6.
