Guess who just got her redesign! :D

If you've been watching me on DA since like 2017-18, you probably were aware of Mercy, who was one of my first Pokemon OCs, and was temporarily one of my secondary fursonas (until about 2020/2021 or something, I think). I haven't drawn her for a while now, but she used to be a fan favorite (and a favorite of mine), so I figured I would finally go ahead and give her the revamp I've wanted to give her for about like a year or so now. So here she is in all her updated glory. Of course, she still very much looks like herself, however, I did want to make a few adjustments to her. Firstly, I found the original blue for her fur clashed too much with how colorful her neck fur, eyes, and tail were, so I figured I would go back to her initial blue-grey color so that it wouldn't compete with your attention to all of her more colorful details. In addition, she used to be part Lycanroc as well, but I decided that didn't really make a lot of sense, and just added more annoying details and more colors to her already extensive palette, so since she mostly looked like a Meowth anyway, I just decided to make her a straight up Meowth, but keep her all fluffy and the two-toned face and paws since I liked those details a lot.

I know I'm not super super active in the Pokémon fandom anymore, especially as I now prefer *other video games* now (not naming names, but if you know, you know ;P ), but I still want to keep this cutie around as a relic from my teen years, and even despite everything, I still do really like Pokémon, and genuinely hope to do more fanart for it in the future; especially pieces that revolve around Mercy.
