Hee-Ho howdy everyone! Said I would be re-doing Thommy Boy's reference sheet tomorrow! If ya wanna see the old one? That's going to be riiiiiiiight here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/50971760/
Although now we got the brand new one! The last reference sheet was a bit of an experiment, but you can still find it's remnants in the top right there! Reminder that Cycle 9 is before the great collapse and everything else that happens in the setting in Cycle 10. That it is the cataclysmic event that led into its creation. The timeline is a bit all over the place, but it's slightly intentional. However, we can also see Thomza using this form at multiple and different points of time, including Cycle 10. However, this is simply it's origin which of course is now going to be posted below:
The Ancient Hero finally awakens! For his eternal slumber has been disturbed, his memory, his power, missing as only a small portion of it now remains. He remembers his name, memories of the past of a world long forgotten and does not even remotely comprehend his Maskless form or that his title is that of being one of the Pillars of Creation. Simply calling himself a "Guardian of the Great Serpent" as he finds himself in a temple with vague clues that this newfound world that he awoke in is in great danger. That he believes his only purpose is to protect it at all costs and find whatever is plaguing it. For without much direction, he wanders off into the wilderness on a quest with a not-so-clear goal.
In his wandering, he comes across the Mandrakes and their colony, only to be greeted by the one named Aellea. Here he learns of their strife, the colonies woes and sudden collapse as they fully rely on the "Tall Ones" for guidance. He believes his first step is assisting the colony, from fighting monsters, to gathering supplies, to fighting off other colonies and clans, and most importantly gaining their trust. He would soon be anointed a proper knight and leader of his own expedition party by their queen in this strange new alien land he finds himself in. During all of this he would gain piece by piece of his memories, unlock brand new powers, and lead the colony to a brand-new flourishing era.
However, this isn't without its own risks as there's a much more terrifying threat that lays just out of view, as the race is on to find Thomza's memories and to restore his god-like strength, to awaken the Tiamat from her slumber, or this realm will fall to ruin!
OLD AND OUTDATED VERSION OF THIS:
The Mute God Awakens! For his eternal slumber has been disturbed, his power, missing, but for the one who seeks the life of myths must restore his inner strength. To gather the many artifacts for he is the key to take the boon of the Tiamat. For he is the protector of her throne, and the hero of a legend far gone." ~Some writing Proto found on a wall.
The legend told is not too far from being true. Thomza has indeed returned in the 9th cycle of his realm that he's created with the other Pillars of Creation. However, he and Tia are struggling with the creation process, and they need more gods to step up to the plate. So, Tia has decided to create Cycle 9 into a massive challenge to find out who is worthy to be a god! So, he takes on the disguise of a mute and small "Toonbold" that was uncovered by Commander Proto. The only thing Proto knows is that he's a "key" of some sort and the answers lay somewhere on Planet Materia. Thomza however, is to act very silly and to even impede the progress of anyone who finds him by Tia's orders... Hence his nickname of, "Bitey" as he's trashed the ship more times than Proto can count!
However, on the opposite end "Bitey", seems to speak only with mandrakes and other characters who do not have the same goal of godhood. This is where he would meet Aellea, his soon to be wife, the eccentric and very powerful Big Bo, and even a strange mandrake known as "The Wizard" as they go on their own miniature adventures while Proto solves puzzles. All the while being chased by many others who would capture "Bitey" to further their goal of godhood...
(Written in very small text) As his adventures go on though... Thomza feels a very nagging sensation that there's something more sinister lurking within the planet and it's his job to stop this evil that spreads. That Cycle 9, very well, maybe in extremely grave danger...
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system.

This is where I'll actually get into the creation process too really quick! It was actually pretty fun revisiting Thomza's Toonbold transformation and have some fun with it, as well as leaving details about Cycle 9 and Planet Materia's past as well as the adventures that were had. I feel like the text is a bit weird to read, but... I was mostly just experimenting with that. That and another thing I noticed how his clawed toes on his feet rather stick out being a dark blue and all, I think it works though, and I'd probably say underneath his gloves his fingers have the same dark blue patterning on them, even if they're not claws. I was also tempted to give him his Dragon-like wings from his fat cartoon dragon form, but I decided against it and kept to the original design. Also, he's still pretty much pants-less, that armor is simply there for aesthetic as he got his scales to protect him. Other than that? Thank you all for reading! Have a wonderful day!
