Alex was in his room researching on his laptop for a new job with decent pay. He saw many choices such as carpentry, pizza delivery man, and even plumbing but none of them would do because he felt those choices just wouldn't do for his needs. He kept browsing until he found an article that read "Assistant Mayor Wanted: No Experience Necessary!" Alex thought to himself, "That is strange. I thought being assistant mayor requires a degree in politics and I never had such an education." Alex saw the salary--$70,000 per week! Alex thought this sounded like a really good offer and opportunity. He sent an email to the receiver. Seconds later, the room changed. He was no longer in his bedroom but in an office.
"Ahem!" a woman's voice said. Alex spun around a saw a humanoid cat lady with blonde hair, a pink coat, and purple shoes. "So, you got my email?" she asked.
"Yes, miss."
"My name is Callie Briggs. I'm the mayor here and I am hiring you to be my assistant. Just to warn you, managing Megakat City is not an easy task. It takes much duty and dedication to keep the place from falling apart."
Alex began to feel unsure of himself. "I don't really have any idea how to run a city."
"Hmm, let's just see about that." Callie scratched her chin thinking until a lightbulb went off in her head. "Just a second." She opened one of her desk drawers and pulled out a peppermint shaped like a cat's head. "This should freshen you up." Callie dropped the candy in his hand.
"Uh, what will this do?" Alex asked.
"It'll turn you into a feline like me. The affects will be permanent until you take this spearmint. Then you'll turn back into a human." She said.
"Will it hurt?" Alex asked.
"Oh, no, no, no! Not at all! Like I said, you'll feel refreshed like you are ready for a new day! Trust me." Callie said. "Just suck slowly or you might feel dizzy afterwards." Alex was about to plop the candy into his mouth until Callie stopped him. "Hang on a second! You are going to want to go to the bathroom. The candy will change your body but not your clothes! I already have clothing in the bathroom for you, just put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign while you are transforming."
"Alright, thank you!" Alex said. "Why do you need an assistant mayor anyway?"
"I'm going on vacation. It has been a very tiring month for me and so I need some help." Callie explained.
"Well, I'm happy for you." Alex said.
"Thank you! I do believe you are right for the job!" Callie smiled.
Alex entered the bathroom and put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign. He sucked on the mint. It gave him a cool sensation all over his body. He did indeed feel refreshed. He looked in the bathroom mirror to see the changes. The first thing he saw was his ears migrating to the top of his head becoming more triangular! His hair grew longer until it was about as long as Callie Briggs's was. He felt his ears to see how real it was. An enormous fluffy cat tail erupted from behind him causing his shorts and boxers to tear apart. Fur covered his legs and travelled up through the rest of his body. He next felt his butt get rounder and his legs become more shapely. His manhood was gone and now he had female hips. His hands became small and dainty as his figure became angular. Two breasts expanded now making him entirely a woman. Alex saw the clothing was a white work shirt, black tie, gray skirt, a pink overcoat, and purple high-heeled shoes. She put on the clothing Callie provided for her and exited the program. Alex felt an air of high dignity, responsibility, and a no-nonsense attitude. Alex walked with a lady-like stride towards Mayor Callie. "I'm ready to serve and provide for the city, Miss Briggs."
Callie grinned, "Excellent! You look very flattering today, Alex!" She placed a stack of manila envelopes on the desk. "Here is today's work, can you handle it?"
Alex skimmed through the paperwork. "Yes, Miss Briggs, I can do this."
"Good, and when you are done, I took the liberty of renting you an apartment. All your basic and feminine needs are all there." Callie said.
"Thank you Mayor Briggs!" Alex smiled with confidence.
"Please, call me Callie. That is what my friends call me!" Callie Briggs said. "Now I am going to the Alps for a skiing trip. Maybe one day I can take you with me."
"That would be great. Have fun!" Alex said as Callie left the room. Alex sat at the desk and looked at the first order of business. "If there is any trouble, call the Swat Kats." Alex read. Alex cat ears perked up when she heard an explosion. She reached for the phone and called. "Bring me the Swat Kats, immediately!
