A few years ago when I found out more about insect sonas or buggies, I became mesmerized by the idea of making one for myself. I thought long and heard about which insect I wanted to use, being a fan of general entomology. First I thought maybe a spider like the cobalt blue tarantula, or maybe the orchid mantis(which i ended using elsewhere) eventually I realized I wanted a sona more based on my actual physicality than a buff, well defined tiger or athletic raven. So I picked the rotund jewel scarab, and wonder upon wonders it's a natural way to shoe-horn in my obsession with ancient Egypt. Thus Hasharat Alsukar was born. A warrior priest or lector of Khepri, the solar scarab aspect of Ra. I decided I wasn't to fond of him rolling a big ball of shit around as scarab's are dung beetles, so I was able to incorporate my love of sweets and make it a giant ball of sugar. In fact his name is a play on that, as it means "Sugar Bug" in Arabic. As always I have designed this using Heroforge..but i might have a surprise in store..
