I remember the first time I experimented with wax. I didn't know that you had to use a specific type of wax on humans that doesn't actually burn but cools much faster than wax you'd buy at the store.

I have burn scars from that experiment that I still own today - almost 10 years later.

You have a great way of conveying the amount of searing pain she is experiencing.
