The completed gift for  Hakunaro, there is quite the story behind how this came to be, and now is the time for me to tell that story.

It all started back in early 2021, when I first discovered Haku’s art. Not only did I immediately fall in love with his style, but I found that he also loved macro art, and given that that is the one topic I’m extremely picky with, I fell in love with his art even more, as the way he draws macro is also the way I like the most! I was certainly inspired by his work, and it led me down a long path that would soon carry me here.

Fast forward just over a year, and I finally joined this community. It was time for me to come out of this empty room I sat in, and here was a great place to do so. And as time went on, my art was slowly improving with every passing day.

Around five months ago, I was going through some hard times. I was feeling under the weather, all of my friends were off doing their own thing, so I felt isolated, which in turn started one of the darkest times of my life. But a month after that, I began to meet lots of new friends, which likely wouldn’t have happened had I not come here. They were all able to help me push through what I’d consider to be the worst time of my life.

And of course, I have Haku to thank for all of it. Had I not first discovered his art, I likely wouldn’t be here today. Lots of the friends I met in the past few months would have continued their lives without me. And I most likely would still be suffering from depression. But Haku led me down the path that led to these dark ages being put to an end, over the course of two years.

Haku, I truly cannot thank you enough. Where would I be in this world without you?

Thank you for allowing me to do this gift for you! As challenging as it was (no I’m not joking) I also had so much fun with it, and to do an art piece for you feels like a dream come true! *Gives the biggest hug I can give*
