In this particular iteration, human genesis occurred right before the first collision between the galactic centers of Andromeda and the Milky Way. They have just began to intertwine and merge their edges when the modern thordonians came about.

Star formation had increased dramatically due to the interstellar scale forces being exerted on the gas and dust at the convergent tips, and will spread out across the two galaxies as they continue to pass through each other. This formation will provide the Clones with a freely gained yield of young massive stars to extract power from, giving them a considerable boost of energy as they continue to explore and populate their own home galaxy. They will ride the beams of transmitted power through each system they come across.
