Once upon a time, there was an ugly little demon, made of muck and slime. She was a minion of The Lord of Flies; a living stomach. She was released into the human world to consume and defile. One day, however, The Demon found herself in a barren wasteland, with no food for miles. Her hunger compelled her to eat, but she found nothing. In pain, she collapsed onto the ground, writhing in agony.
As she lied on the forest floor, waiting to die, another human approached. A nun. The Demon expected this lady of faith to continue her suffering. But instead, The Nun gave her roses from her basket and told her to eat them. The Demon would; she'd eat until she had the strength to return the Demon Realm.
The Demon asked her why. The Nun told her that no creature should have to suffer.
And so, The Demon would take the time to help The Nun whenever she could. She'd do her duties as a low ranked demon and help The Nun the best she could in her duties. The Nun would help satiate The Demon's hunger by feeding food from her garden. From fruits to weeds to mushrooms to pests that endangered the plants.
One day, when The Demon came to visit The Nun, she found her church defiled. She'd go to the nearby town and see The Nun, burning at the stake for crimes of heresy.
How could they do this? The Demon thought The Nun was truly beautiful; merciful, kind, selfless. A saint among Humans.
In her rage, The Demon rampaged through town. In her despair and sorrow, The Demon felt a metamorphosis overcome her. And from her very core, from the seeds she's eaten from The Nun's garden, she bloomed into a Succubus.
And thus, she took on a new name; Rosary.
