TLDR - As a little girl, the solver saw a strange sea creature at the harbor and it scared her. To this day, it is what she fears the most.
It had floated at the surface when the fishers found it
and dragged it back to the harbor.
having to stack tables together to support and measure it,
even having being bisected at some point, it easily measured over 3 meters in length.
She had walked down the harbor that morning, a small girl, going
to some erend or maybe a school excursion? she can´t remember
what had brought her to the harbor that day anymore.
Only that the memory would remain...
- How she had turned the street corner with haste and seen it,
A long, ugly body with many tendrils. It looked like a worm,
but had form like a tree-root, and attached to the end was
a faceless maw of thousands of long sharp teeth.
To her, a little girl, this vision, this meeting of a mammal of the land and sun
and an eldritch unknown horror of the depths,
made something in her mind snap, for her, this was the very veil of death itself,
ones doom and demise, and the zenith of things to be feared.
For days she could not sleep,
for weeks she were a nervous form,
and only after a long time, she found a form of peace and reason,
that this was just some sea creature from the depths not seen before.
And in her adult years, found likewise adult wisdom and hardened resolve and
comfort in this knowledge...
But her instinct never faltered her, never failed to do its job.
For in the very core of her being, she knew.
And from time to time, she would be reminded in her dreams.
-An endless tunnel of teeth and terror, devouring her, gnashing her skin, tearing
her flesh and muscle apart, entirely helpless and lost.
And as enourmus teeth pirced her ribcage and lungs,
she would finally wake up, drenched in sweat, labored breathing.
Quickly grabbing her abdomend, she would only to find sweatted skin
and feel a panicking beating heart.
She would forfeit the rest of the that night, and keep telling herself how silly
her reaction was. How her rational self would attempt to let go.
But her mind and body would never let go.
For this was what ruled that ancient part of her.
a part every sentient being has inside them, a switch hidden but ready to flick on
when the most primal core of ourselves recognise danger,
and activates to protect the body from death itself.
This was the form she choose as her absolute,
her very end.
her fear.

To be fair to her, if you did a work-thing in the woods, and was suddenly strung up in the air, and a raccoon came up to you and started asking questions about what you were doing. Would you-
A: Exercise your swearing repertory towards it?
B: Answer the raccoons questions?
C: Bit of both/third answer?
Also, given what yinglets are in this world,
the solver is rightfully quite taken a back/angry on how sassy this presumed pest-creature is :D

Well, it IS yinglet shes talking to, she knows the basic gist of them on what they are/can do/etc :D
She also seems to be momentary forgetting the position shes in while directing her frustrations towards the lesser creature before her,
which clearly acting out of place tricking her like this!
So demanding and namecalling it is!

Tricky to fight someone who can summon your most deeply-buried terror from the depths of your mind. This woman's gonna need some clean pants, if she gets out of this alive. And considering her disrespectful choice of words towards a Matriarch, "getting out of this alive" is... not a given, shall we say. ^_~
Y'know lady, if you're going to be a Solver, and want to be any good at it, you should learn to recognize dangerous plants. Particularly those that are harmful to humans, but not other creatures? And especially those that give off noxious and/or hallucinogenic fumes or pollen when disturbed.
Oh, being drugged is definitely on the top of her list explaining what the hell is going on.
But right now, this sassy little yinglet is mocking her casually, and she is not having it!
-And then went on to have everything logically going on in her head being scraped away for fear to rule absolutely.
