Littlefoot the NightWing
Silly idea that I’ve had in my head ever since I read the first Wings Of Fire book a couple of years ago.
When I read the first WoF Book, something about the dragonets of destiny made me think of The Land Before Time characters. I don’t know why those characters sprung to mind, but then my mind wandered to - I wounder what Dragons the Dinosaur character’s in The Land Before Time would be? then to - I wonder what the adventure would be like if the dragonets of destiny were Little Foot, Ducky, Spike, Sarah and Petrie instead? But alas I don’t have time to write that Fanfic but I can draw some character art instead!
So here is Littlefoot the NightWing, originally I was going to have him be a MudWing, but after talking it over with my twin, and remembering the The Land Before Time, 10th Movie, where Littlefoot and the other longnecks had that ‘vision’ about the solar eclipse, I agreed that making him a NightWing was the better idea. But it did mean adjusting his colours a bit to fit the NightWing look more. In the end, I ended up using some of his mother’s colour pallet, which sadly made him less recognizable as Littlefoot, but I hope that is forgivable in this case. Either that or I go back to the drawing board and make Littlefoot a NightWing/MudWing Hybrid, but I wanted to have each of the The Land Before Time characters be one of the dragon races, and no hybrids. (Yes I’m aware Sunny is a Hybrid, but for this Au I wanted to try and keep the characters to being one dragon species)
Anyway I think I’ll either call this Crossover Wings of Time? or The Land Before Fire? which sounds better to you guys...also I guess in this Au Littlefoot gets cryptid visions of the future and can hear spirits?
