"I am so done with this…"

This very much reminds me of a character I designed for a roleplay once. Basically, they were a cross in folklore of a ghost and a zombie, being undead with spiritual powers, but having a physical body and being feral in the mind. Their form could only be damaged, but not truly "killed", instead vanishing as their form took too much damage to be viable anymore, and their powers lost strength. They could reappear at various points in the story, but for balancing reasons, their spirit was too weak to return immediately, and required time to recover.
