Meet Ethan Cook, aka the superhero Leo!
Technically a vigilante protecting the city from supervillain attacks, Leo wants to extend a welcoming hand to anyone who wants to be saved. His own resolve to be a hero stems from his own desire to help others, be the hero the people need in their darkest times, and fight the battles that no one else can fight.
Unlike the League of Heroes the next city over, Leo works hard to maintain his secret identity of Ethan Cook, a university graduate working at a bakery cafe and taking night classes. When Ethan isn't spending his time studying, working out, working, or being a superhero, he's hanging out with his friends, working through his own problems, and attempting to get enough sleep.
Supervillains aren't making it any easier, as Leo is now grappling with his own unresolved sexual awakening, and these villains and their kooky, kinky heists are not helping matters in the least...
Leo is born from my own personal gripes with the superhero genre - more specifically, how blockbuster movies and popular shows treat them. Ethan, and subsequently Leo, are no paragon of unattainable human virtue; they are people with wants, dreams, and insecurities. I hope to someday write his adventures for everyone to read; he's been living in my head rent free for a while, and I think he's pretty neat.
He also is going to be the victim of a lot of exploratory fantasies I have, so whoops. Sorry Ethan.
