I mentioned in a recent journal about this art piece, and I chose to do one to help bring and spread awareness towards rude personas online. I’ve been unfortunate enough to have to take lots of crossfire from multiple people putting in an act as an excuse to be rude online, and I’m here to step in and provide wisdom.
Behind my mask online, whether I’m my normal human self, the bird hybrid most of y’all know me as, or a giant bird, I’m still the same person as I am in real life, as shown by the eyes in the mask being left empty.
So I ask all of you to understand something. Whether it is an act or not, it is never acceptable to behave rude online, as no one will have any good reason that you are t rude in real life. And should the consequences of your actions come back to you, the damage done can be irreversible. So to avoid this, treat others the way you want to be treated.
(Also, disclaimer, this isn’t a one to one cartoonified self portrait. My hair doesn’t have a red stripe and my face isn’t this wounded, nor are my eyes yellow.)
