I noticed a surge in bambi fanart over the past few weeks and it made me want to draw more Bambi as well. I thought it would be fun to draw Geno and Gurri again. It's been a while since iv'e drawn my versions of them. I tweaked Gurri's design a little bit to have her resemble Faline more. I notice that many designs of Geno and Gurri have them both look like Bambi, and not much of Faline. Geno's fur coat is more similar to Faline's than Bambi's. Gurri now has more of her mother's eyes and face shape, but has Bambi's fur color and hair tuft.

I really hope to illustrate more scenes from my telling of "Bambi's Children". I think I would like to change the story a little bit so I can add more elements of the disney version and of the deer being in North America rather than Europe.
