Love Me Not 1774
Well, that's all. Gaiagal's story is finished.
Wow... this all feels... surreal, but I guess when you work on something for long enough, it will get finished eventually.

I hope you enjoyed the ride. Thank you so much for reading.

Thank you, Joshdan.
I hope one day in the future we can look back on this and enjoy it how I intended it...
I'm very well aware of how much of a tonal whiplash it was, but I dedicated so much time and effort into it because I truly felt it was important to Aquarius's development.
Maybe soon? I don't know, hopefully sooner than I think. ((( ^o^)))''''

i started reading love me not a few months ago and holy fucking shit. i audibly sobbed when bart, joshua and gaiagal each had their turn dying and coming back
i love how much thought you've put into every character, even giving awful, irredeemable shitheads (*cough cough Aqua's Dad and Vad cough cough*) get to be complex, sympathetic characters that even if i hate i know they're still people with their own pains and motivations. coupled with how expressive you draw them, they feel so alive. i love them so much
side note, it's been really cool seeing your art skill and style evolve over time, i think that's sick as hell. also, the fact that you made this whole thing - 2,242 pages (as of time of writing) of incredible art and expressive, distinct characters - in *flipnote*
thought i'd mention it at this point in the comic because the movie arc hit me so hard. i know i'm not close to caught up, but either way i hope you're proud of yourself for how much work you've put into this and for sticking to it for so long, because this comic is fucking incredible
it's like 2:30am so i gotta stop reading for now but i am so excited to see what happens next

Hey, alittlemorenormal-chan. I can't really put into words how pleased and happy I am that you've read the entirety of the Gaiagal movie arc and enjoyed it as much as I did working on it!
I'm aware it was a whiplash of tone, and not everyone was onboard with it, but I truly believed I was making something that people would like and appreciate for existing, and although it didn't get nearly as much love and attention as the main plot, I look back on it with fondness knowing just how much of a journey it was to work on it and how many benefits came of the work out on it, like my art style, to name a few.
Anyways, I just gotta say... your comment made my day, and I'm sorry I haven't replied to it sooner. Things are currently very busy on my end to the point where I've been depressed and haven't gotten to any of my socials, but when I read your comment, I felt a sense of pride I haven't felt in a long time, and I feel like things will be okay.
Thank you very much, alittlemorenormal. (c:

damn, I really just read the entirety of Gaiagal and the Space Rose. getting to sit down and "watch" a movie within the story's universe, with its characters, is the kind of creative freedom I appreciate from indie webcomics like this. it's silly and a little cliche but still has an entire plot thought out, in a way that makes the main story feel even more grounded in reality from the contrast.
