Again 7, the lack of muscle makes me think he'll tip over from unbalance.

The small plates are what should go the whole length of the back and the tail. If you want something frilly, that can go on the head. And still, I can't think of one animal with a tail that bulges in the middle like that. They're either the same thickness most of the way, or a definite wide to narrow taper.

Honestly, when I saw the tail cross section drawing first I was wondering what the drawing of its sheath was for.
