This was an experimental piece I started over a month ago, then I got busy with work and other life stuff. I have finally found time to complete it!
For the most part, this was a brush and style simplification experiment for faster pieces. Turns out its not that fast. :( Either way, I learned a lot and got to try out some new brushes I've acquired! Also, this let me know that my shading process is unchanged for the most part, as is my lineless style.
Here we have Ranger Hayashi answering some visitor questions while a couple decide to "break some rules a tiny bit."

Anyway, this is a park that I may be calling home in the next year or so! Part of the big life struggle was working through the hiring process for this full time position in the capacity Hayashi here is in! Its been a long road between the many seasons spent working in the NPS, and getting in to flight instructing this past summer and winter. I was hitting a dead end in terms of the ability to develop and financially. NYC is great n' all, but it doesn't have everything I'm looking for. I figured its time for me to take that leap and try a new part of the country.
