Now onto the artwork. Couple weeks or so ago, I decided to draw something memorable to him and I did. I remembered the artwork from Twitter two years ago and the artist who commissioned it made a mistake, a bit serious one, described his character, SolarFox, with his friend’s character named Distorter enjoying eating ice cream in a café while alien invaders attacked the city. This was a big mistake and so it was deleted afterward.

Today, one year after his passing, I’ve drawn this pic and it is true to his request. I’ve drawn the artwork depicted as a monster (modeled after T-Rex Arctic Giant from Superman cartoons in the 1940s) rampaging the city while SolarFox and Distorter are enjoying drinking coffee at the café in the middle of a crisis. Now that’s an awkward moment right there.

Word of advice as a freelance and commission artist: show your artwork to your client <b>before</b> finalizing and uploading it on the internet.
