This weekend came a moment seen twice in the history of the NFL. Decades since the last time it was seen (1941 was the last game), the Bears faced off against the Packers in the post-season, battling each other for the right to go to the championship! The longest and biggest rivalry in professional football, Bears vs. Packers prompted the very first referee ruling that ejected players from a game.
The competitiveness isn't lost on the fans, for whom the Bears/Packers NFL Conference Championship game is a bigger deal than the Superbowl itself! The past week has been a frenzy of excited anticipation for the Big Game, both in Wisconsin and in Illinois, to the point that businesses were closing down all over both states because employers just weren't able to keep employees from calling in sick! Fan rivalries are terrible, terrible things... but happily, they can also find things to agree on. Like the sexy-awesome that is cute women in football jerseys. :}

Blueberry is my mascot, and everyone should know by now that I'm a Bears fan to the end, so she gets that role. hijinxfantasy has been wanting me to do this piece for years... and there can be no better time to create this piece than during this perfect opportunity!

I have to admit, I had to be on Harlin's side simply because a local guy, who was a Bears fan, was talking so much junk, I"d have done anything to see him eat humble pie. Sorry for all the innocents who got caught in the splash damage.
Only bullet that didn't go off was the darn Steelers winning (and believe me, living in PA and not being a Steeler's fan in my area can be a big pain in the ass)

I didn't know he did. Sometimes though I think experience is overrated. I mean Ryan Leaf has more experience than Caleb Haine but I wouldn't put Leaf under center unless I was trying to get him killed. I think really what did Todd Collins in though is the fact that he was ineffective every time he was in at the position. I think that if the Bears resign Haine he stays the number two and either a rookie or someone cheap moves into the 3rd position.
The bears losing I think ripped a piece of my soul away. More so cause it came down to the third Stringer. If Hanie would of pulled it out I would of been too happy but all in all I was really disappointed with how they played. I'm a Chicago fan to the day I die.

~chuckles~ Well, I was a Packs fan before I became a furry, so they sort've take priority. As a furry, I like all furry-themed teams equally (except cat-themed ones. If a cat-themed team is playing the Packs, then I'm for the cat-themed team. Sorry...), but as far as regular football loyalties go I'm a Packs fan.
Oh, there's no question I like both the girls. The only thing I'm thinking of when I see them, is just how far they're willing to go with the whole 'team loyalties' thing. Like, are they wearing matching panties? Or if they're not wearing any (best case scenario, really..) then maybe they could be 'shaved' with the number of their fave player? Hell, they could even have team-colored vibrators. (hey, it's possible. I've seen weirder crap. My friend is making an animal-cock chess set for crying out loud..).
Really the possibilities are endless here. They could even have several bets going on. Who's player scores the most points, which half/quarter they score in, which player scores first. And that's just the girls.... ;3

As a Chicagolander myself, I have decided to pretty much abandon a team that I have affectionately nicknamed "The Windy City Whoopsadaisies", seeing how many times in the past years they've fucked up.
Honestly, at this point, I don't care much for football. I'll just stick to Cubs Baseball. The team may suck this year, but there's always fun to be had at Wrigley Field, even if the Cubs lose.
