Fox Prince Reacts to Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken Trailer
Hello everyone, now I wasn't expecting to do another reaction to a trailer today but after watching that new trailer, I thought I might give that a watch and see if it's any good. But this trailer that I'm going to react to is called Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken, I'm very curious about this and I'm wondering what that movie would be like. Let's find out about this together and begin by watching this trailer right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a698602yiyQ
0:00-0:25 So we're beginning the trailer with the whole ocean full of jellyfish and we've even got narrations while talking about Kraken, now it even mentioned something about them being monsters as more of a lie. Let's see what we might get where this trailer is coming.
0:25-0:35 Now we're meeting the main character Ruby Gillman herself and they say something about Krakens being protectors, however, I'm really surprised that nobody in this trailer is noticing something weird about her. Take an example in comparisons to her and the humans we're seeing, she has no nose and I'm not being racist towards the character but are there even people with blue skin and hair that is not similar to human hair or animal fur?
0:35-0:47 Okay why make the mermaid the dangerous ones? Why couldn't they use other mythical creatures that are similar to those for example sea witches or even sirens? I mean those two that I mentioned are kind of like mermaids but are way more dangerous and are known to trick people into believing they're beautiful creatures.
0:47-1:13 Now we're introduced to what I believe is the antagonist of the film and she's supposed to be a mermaid, she looked more like a regular human to me. While Ruby is about to show off her true color while that character knows that she's a Kraken and I'm pretty surprised that no one in this film is noticing it.
1:13-1:32 Okay the epic music being played and such is starting to feel as if Equestria Girls and Aquaman had a baby, but at the same time trying to be one of those teenage movies.
1:32-1:52 I'm surprised this movie is trying to be more like an Aquaman movie itself only it's a DreamWorks version of the MCU.
1:52-2:16 OMG, now this is starting to get exciting there, it's now starting to feel like Descendants 2, The Suicide Squad movie from 2021, and Godzilla had a baby.
2:16-2:23 Now I've seen everything this movie is mainly 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea vs. The Little Mermaid.
We'll even though I'm impressed with this, I'm going to half to wait for the second trailer to this if it's going to try to catch my interest. Because even though the music and the action that is happening in this trailer are already catching my interest, at the same time feels like one of those movies that are meant for girls to try and sell Barbie doll-like toys in stores. Well anyway once that happens, I'm going to work on other things so see you all later.
