Flopsy's not having a great day, is she? She manages to at least somewhat repair her friendship with Zach, but it's not like it's going to ever be the same. And Lydia is diving deeper into theories about aliens, causing the wedge between Flopsy and her to be driven in further. The more she struggles, the more things seem to be falling apart...
Poor Flopsy would do a lot better if she could just tell people the truth, instead of trying to lead this strange double life. But how could she walk around if everyone's going to see a Big Scary Monster? Or a superhero? Or a cryptid? Or a marketing opportunity? Maybe if I get published, I can try to do a Makeship run or whatever of Flopsy plushes. Wouldn't that be fun? ^_^
Welp, just gotta take what life throws at you, I guess. Which do you think will catch up to her first, Malik or Falk? Or will something else entirely happen? (I mean, I already know, but it's fun to explore alternate scenarios.)

Malik arrived the same night Flopsy did, there's no way he'd have been able to develop a cigar habit and rise to the rank of Lieutenant in the police force and learn Earth so well. Let alone be investigating the Rocky Mountain Bar and Grill Brawl that happened Flopsy's first night, and also Malik wouldn't have been able to keep his hatred and disgust in check at the police station. The moment he saw Flopsy, he jumped to "Abomination" and pulled out a shotgun, after all. ^_~
Flopsy really needs a support network, instead of a single support person and a kid eager to go full Jimmy Olsen. ^_^;;

She's still a Loose End that he can't tie up. Everywhere she goes, stuff doesn't make sense. And with other stuff in this town not making sense this past month, it's really getting to him. Don't know if you ever watched Columbo, but an unsolved mystery just eats at him.
The only real way for him to be on her side is if he gets told the complete and total truth about everything. And even then, it's not guaranteed. The police do frown on vigilante justice, after all. We'll just have to see how things develop. ^_~
