The Xui are a reclusive race of hyper advanced Octopi folk, they have strong psychic abilities, which is how they prefer to communicate, but they can learn spoken language, all of their species is male
Their names are usually the name of their race followed by a number (something like Xui-7070), but in the rare case a Xui decides to break off and interact with other races, they adopt a name.
Their race consists of only males, as a virus wiped out the females long long ago, different groups of Xui found various ways to make more of themselves, and could vary between them.
Also, that tail is prehensile.
