The editor of the Australian fanzine I did this for seemed incapable of telling me all I needed to know up-front. After I finished the "landscape" format first version, he told me he needed it for a "portrait" format cover. So I added another few inches of rock and sky to the top. Then, he decided that he need a list of the contents on the cover, not just the title. I didn't like that idea much, but I figured I could at least do a better job of it than his elementary Times Roman serif font in white. It occured to me that it was inevitable that now I'd be told the zine was going to be printed on A4 metric paper. I asked him. Yup. I had to add another inch or so of sky and rock, and move the title and contents upward. In anticipation that his next move would be to ask for a white border, I did a version after this one with a quarter inch white space all around.
Gawd... I *hope* that's the last thing he needs changed! This picture has gone through more alterations than the excuses the White House gave for the second Gulf War.
