He's a shapeshifter, but a terrible one, he tends to be influenced by artifacts, people, and locations, not to mention potions and other things. It's his nature as half changeling that makes him so susceptible to his transformations, (his mother was a cradleswap, and only discovered this later in her life).
He originally believed he was a Wererat, following an encounter with one, but after the lunar curse was broken, Dugun found himself turning into a lot of other things! His human nature is his "base form" and eventually he always returns to it.
He spends his days collecting herbs for his alchemist friend's hut in the woods, and volunteering for said alchemist's experiments (he's fine.) And of course taking contracts for dungeon crawling and baddy smashing~

Been a long time hasn’t it?
I made Dugun in 2008 out of a challenge to reuse the color scheme from my centaur character Vegar. Lucky the Hippo Alchemist named him back then when he was a half-elf, who became a Wererat after accidentally absorbing the soul of a rat monster he killed. There was a lot going on with him then, and after a later change, he lost his elven and wererat status, and became a shapeshifter. With this change, he's half human, but not elven anymore.
This is sort of why Dugun changes back so regularly and why curses usually work easily on him. He may not be a wererat, but as it was his first transformation, it’s one form he finds himself shifting back into, not always unwillingly. Eventually i’ll make his “changeling form” but i’m still figuring out what that looks like~

I haven't finished one of these for one of my characters in forever, in fact Dugun's last character sheet was back in 2009.
