That movie is too old for me to remember sadly.

Well, said movie has a scene featuring a mouse tied up just like this so that he would indeed be bait. Then, when a curious animal would try to mess with him or, in the case of the film, a kind hearted human boy tried to free him, it triggered a pit trap that had a motion sensor inside it which let the evil poacher know that something got caught.

Yeah, I remember that scene. Poor Cody really should have heeded that mouse’s warning.

It was kind of funny when McLeach showed up and after finding out it was a kid who’d sprung his trap, he tried to pin it on his pet lizard, Joanna.

If there is a chance, this movie is worth a try. I recomment it

Why can I distinctly hear bell noises from this picture?

Offhand, I’d say it’s on account of the little dingly on the branch just above yon puir wee ratten. (I’ve no idea why I slipped into Scots towards the end there.)

I feel like I've heard the distinct sound so many times, including a cassette tape in Metal Gear Solid V where it was tossed and it kept bouncing away. That's probably why. Though this picture I can distinctly hear it more than another potential picture!

I remember the Rescuers Down Under so a nice reference with the bondage theme for this month's predicament for feral Eternal.

Quite a predicament as well, with dangling and trying to remain as still as possible in order for the bell not to ring and even if he can manage that all it would take is for the wind to pick up, though maybe luck will be in and the ringing of the bell will bring someone inclined to show pity and rescue a rat and not a hungry cat.

Well, actually Eternal is dangling a little bit in the background. If the size would be natural bedween rat and flowers, Eternal would be twice as big then he appears here.^^
